This has only a few ingredients as any dressing really should if it is healthy and not full of stuff you can’t pronounce. There are some exceptions to that but we’ll get to that another time. This recipe uses red wine vinegar so it will come out pink but I really like the flavor the red-wine vinegar gives it. The shallots really gives it a nice ka-pow as well.
This is good on salad but also on fruit. Your kids will love it and will want it on lots of different things. Give it a try and let me know what you think.
What You’ll Need:
1 c. oil
½ c. red wine vinegar
¼ c. sweetner (honey, agave, maple syrup)
1 sm. Shallot – minced
½ t Salt
2 T Poppy Seeds
What You Do:
1. Put all of this in a blender and blend
2. Stir in the poppy seeds
